How to register a Top Level Domain name:
- Think of an appropriate Top Level Domain name for your dating web site. Include words like 'dating', 'matchmaking', 'matchmaker', 'singles'. A word or words that relates to online dating or matchmaking. You could use your name, part of your name or initials as part of your Top Level Domain name to help make it unique.
Let's use the name 'Nolene Edwin' as a fictitious example:
You could register any of the following as domain names if they are available:
NolenesDatingDelights, NEdatingNEtime, NEmatchmaking, WinsMatchmaker, OnlineDatingWins.
Note: Top Level domain names are registered in lowercase letters only.
I have just used capital letters to make them easier to read in the above example. :)
- Once you have decided on a Top Level Domain name,
click here to see if the domain name you want is available.
- When you get to the web site enter the domain name you want to register in the search box.
- Select the country extension or type extension if you want to.
- Click the search button and see what comes up.
If the domain name is available you can register it straight away via a simple online form. If it is not available you will be shown a number of alternative Top Level Domain names similar to what you searched for. If none of these alternatives are suitable, try the search again with a variation of the original domain name you searched for.
TIP: You can use hyphens in a domain name! Hyphenated Top Level domain names do have a slight disadvantage over non-hyphenated Top Level domain names but by using hyphens you may be able to get a Top Level Domain name you want! EG: If you wanted 'mydatingsite' and it has already been registered, you could try registering 'my-datingsite' or 'mydating-site' or 'my-dating-site'. :)

Account approval can take from a few minutes to a few hours depending on where you are in the world and what time you registered.
- Once your account has been approved, you can then access your members area.
